Ceramic slurry pump – Silicon carbide slurry pump
A ceramic slurry pump is a centrifugal slurry pump whose wet-end components are made of ceramic, with silicon carbide as the primary material. It exhibits excellent resistance to all acid and alkali corrosion and outstanding wear resistance; however, if the process conditions are not properly controlled, the ceramic wet-end components can easily fracture when handling highly abrasive media containing large particles.
